Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Scaffold Design Specialist to drive innovation and excellence in scaffolding solutions. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in structural engineering to deliver cutting-edge, safe, and compliant scaffold systems for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

  • Design, analyze, and certify scaffolding structures to meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards (including AS4576) and WHS regulations.
  • Provide technical sign-off for working loads, structural integrity, and stability of scaffold systems.
  • Collaborate closely with drafting, estimating, and project teams to develop efficient and effective scaffold solutions.
  • Conduct complex structural computations and prepare comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, project managers, and site teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Review and approve drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Capacity to appear on the National Engineers Register.
  • Demonstrated experience in scaffold engineering design and analysis.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards, codes, and safety requirements for scaffolding.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
