Life Story Collector
As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to record and share the stories of older adults, creating a lasting legacy for their loved ones.

We're seeking individuals who can visit clients in their homes on the South Coast, listen to their life stories, memories, and messages. Using your writing and editing skills, you'll transcribe and refine these stories into a compelling narrative. Your contributions will help capture a life well-lived, one story at a time.

Key Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • 50 words per minute typing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
  • Own car to drive to client homes.
  • Willingness to learn new technology and software.
  • Availability for a long-term commitment and up to 5 hours per week.

By volunteering with us, you'll experience a rewarding experience that benefits both the person you visit and yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation among older adults.
