Electrical Maintenance Role

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is a leading provider of machinery for the construction, mining, and forestry industries.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in our Gunnedah branch.

This is a permanent role with a 5/4 roster, offering a competitive hourly rate, super, paid travel, and overtime opportunities.

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing diagnostic evaluations and electrical maintenance services on Hitachi machinery
  • Liaising with technical support staff to achieve efficient outcomes and assist in product improvements
  • Completing and submitting relevant documentation and reporting paperwork
  • Maintaining good working relationships with customers, peers, and other departments
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities within your area of responsibility

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong safety focus and commitment to adhering to site safety processes
  • A relevant trade certificate in high voltage electrical work
  • Intermediate PC skills with the ability to analyze technical data and reports
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong adaptability to different teams, rosters, environments, and workloads
