We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Gunnedah team as a High Voltage Electrician. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team and work between multiple sites to support our customers' fleets, shutdowns, and ensure the reliability of Hitachi machinery.

Working an even time 6 on / 6 off roster, this permanent role offers access to OEM training and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a global company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic evaluation and electrical maintenance service on a broad range of Hitachi machinery
  • Liaise with technical support staff to achieve efficient outcomes and assist in product improvements
  • Complete and submit relevant documentation and reporting paperwork
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers, peers, and other departments
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities within your area of responsibility

Requirements:

  • A strong safety focus and adherence to site safety processes
  • Relevant Trade Certificate – High Voltage Electrician
  • Intermediate PC skills with the ability to analyse technical data and reports
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teams, rosters, environments, and workloads
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction with internal and external stakeholders, branches, and suppliers
