About this role
We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as a Desktop Support Specialist.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional IT services to internal customers, providing client computing and telecommunications support to enable business tasks.
You will carry out 1st level desktop support in accordance with procedures and participate in an on-call roster.
This position includes:
- Providing technical support and customer service;
Delivering customer-orientated services with high communication proficiency;
Utilising ITSM software & phone queues for interactions, requests, incidents, problem, change and escalations, following aligned processes;
Creating & maintaining current processes, procedures & knowledge articles to achieve efficient & effective support.
Key requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in desktop support in a large commercial environment;
- Excellent communication skills and time management skills;
- Attention to detail and ability to solve problems effectively;
- Customer service experience with a focus on excellent service delivery, building customer relationships and strong problem-solving methodology.
Desirable qualifications
Advantageous experience: Office 365, Retail/ POS environments, EFTPOS and peripherals support, Microsoft Active Directory, SCCM, Group Policy, Mobile device support, IOS, Windows 10 and 11, Exchange mail connectivity & Exchange 2010/365 Hybrid Mode, MDM.
