Disability Support Worker Role

We are seeking compassionate and committed individuals to provide support to people with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and achieve their goals.

This role involves working in a team that values flexibility, empowerment, and community impact. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities participate meaningfully in their communities.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position that requires a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification. You will work on a contractual basis, managing your own schedule and selecting the types of support you wish to offer.

You will be responsible for providing personal care, domestic assistance, and community access services to our participants. This may involve transporting them to community activities, appointments, shopping, and other events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality support services to people with disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Accompanying participants to community activities and events
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • A registered ABN (Australian Business Number)
  • Proof of working rights in Australia (e.g. Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or relevant visa)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) – current and valid
  • Current Police Check (issued within the last 3 years)
  • Valid First Aid Certificate (within 3 years) and CPR (within 1 year)
