Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metal Preparation Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing metal surfaces to ensure they meet our quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fettling and/or operation of grinding and impact equipment, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare metal surfaces for next stage of manufacturing process whilst meeting production output.
  • Operate equipment including overhead cranes, ensuring safe work practices through reading, working within and signing off on SOP's.
  • Participate in toolbox talks and maintain a flexible approach to operating in other areas of the facility if required by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in fettling and/or operation of grinding and impact equipment.
  • Operation of overhead or KBK cranes with an understanding of slinging loads.
  • Ability to constantly carry up to 9kgs.
