About the Role

YMCA Geelong is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Board of Governors. As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization and contributing to the governance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and actively participate in monthly Board Meetings
  • Contribute to the development and execution of our Strategic Plan
  • Provide guidance and support to our CEO
  • Represent YMCA Geelong at various events and functions
  • Work collaboratively with other Board Members to achieve our organizational goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong governance and leadership skills, as well as a commitment to the values and mission of YMCA Geelong. You will also need to be able to dedicate approximately 2.5-3 hours per month to Board-related activities.
