About our factory
We are a leading contract food manufacturer in Australia, specializing in producing gourmet Mediterranean-inspired foods and custom private label food products for retailers and distribution companies.
This role involves preparing, mixing, and producing large quantities of products for packing.
The ideal candidate should be physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks, have reliable transportation, and experience in factory warehousing/food handling (desirable). A willingness to learn, collaborative team player with a can-do attitude, knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices (desirable), ability to read and follow specific recipes, and strong communication skills are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing Production Lines: Prepare, mix, and produce large quantities of products for packing
- Maintaining Workplace Safety: Follow production and WHS procedures
- Food Safety Compliance: Maintain a high standard level of food safety
- Warehouse Operations: Basic warehousing duties such as locating/moving stock via pallet jacks
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Assist other team members in daily cleaning duties to ensure a clean and safe workplace
- Documentation: Complete documentation in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and food safety requirements
- Physical Fitness: Physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks
- Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation
- Factory Experience: Experience in factory warehousing/food handling (desirable)
- Willingness to Learn: A willingness to learn
- Team Player: Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude
- FHSA Knowledge: Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices (desirable)
- Recipe Following: Ability to read and follow specific recipes
