Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow - Health Economics to join our team at Deakin University. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in guiding, advising, and leading the health economics efforts for DELIVER, a project focused on improving healthcare for older adults.

As a Research Fellow - Health Economics, you will work closely with a range of health services across Western Victoria to provide evaluation expertise on projects aimed at improving healthcare outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and building a suite of programs to improve and extend in-home healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in health economics and evaluation in health services research as part of the DELIVER project
• Assist with capacity building in health economic and evaluation across DELIVER partners
• Stay up-to-date with current literature and methods relevant to this research program
• Develop research protocols and ethics applications
• Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data

Requirements:

• PhD complete or nearing completion, or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline
• A research track record in health economics and evaluation
• A demonstrated ability to plan, initiate, and conduct high-quality health research
• Experience in partnership or collaboration with health services to successfully conduct research
• A record of peer-reviewed publications, conference papers, reports, or professional or technical contributions
• Familiarity with health economics and evaluation frameworks
• Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Demonstrated skills in the coordination of data collection and analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Relevant experience working in the health sector
