Experienced professionals are sought after to fill a part-time Assistant Finance Manager role. The selected candidate will provide critical support to the finance team during a 12-month period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management accounts, variance analysis, KPIs, and balance sheet accounting.
  • Financial analysis reporting and group reporting, adhering to deadlines.
  • Annual budgets and forecasting, including re-forecasting.
  • Monthly and year-end reporting, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliation.
  • Monthly VAT submissions and all associated HMRC regulatory requirements and reconciliations.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Fixed Asset register maintenance.
  • Stock management reporting and analysis, bill of material and pricing updates.
  • Project accounting system management.
  • Cash management.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management with suppliers and customers, the Bank, and other financial institutions.
  • Liaising with external auditors and finalisation of the year-end accounts.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
  • Proven experience working as a Management Accountant.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Desire to make improvements and efficiencies.
