Medical Imaging Specialist

About This Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified medical imaging specialist to join our team at an East Melbourne clinic.

This is a hospital-based clinic that provides a highly specialized breast imaging service using cutting-edge equipment. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About The Role

As a medical imaging specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, accurate medical imaging services with a strong focus on patient care. You will work collaboratively with specialist referrers, radiologists, sonographers, nursing staff, receptionists, and hospital stakeholders.

You may also be required to perform breast screen work at our Caulfield clinic. A commitment to training and quality control is essential, and CPM experience is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing patients and operating specialized medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray, CT, MRI, and Mammography.
  • Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers.
  • Promoting and upholding the highest quality and safety standards.

Requirements
  • Current relevant Radiography Radiation Licence and professional registration.
  • Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff.
  • Previous experience in MR and Mammography is advantageous but not essential.
