Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced infrastructure professional to join our team.

This role will be responsible for providing high-level technical support for on-premise physical & virtual computer services, storage services, enterprise backup/recovery services & cloud computing infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical advice regarding the current & future design and use of storage/computer platforms.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to contribute to planning and management of platform lifecycles including design, implementation and performance.
  • Manage incident requests & projects using system management tools to determine load and performance statistics.
  • Identify any risks & issues (security), define user access controls and security systems.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in the design, installation, maintenance and management expertise, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • High level technical knowledge of infrastructure & computer system including VMware, Storage (SAN) & cloud.
  • Skills in Automation & scripting to move solutions to the cloud (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide strategic advice on IT systems development.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and supporting critical systems in a multi-platform environment.
