A leading Australian laboratory services organisation, Evolve Scientific is dedicated to delivering high-quality assays for clinical trials and preclinical studies.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our bioanalytical laboratory, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing scientific experiments, including method development and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop immunological assays via flow cytometry
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of assigned projects, including method development, SOPs, qualification/validation, technical work, routine data collection, data analysis, data reporting, logistics, timelines, deliverables, and resources
- Act as primary scientific liaison for assigned clients
- Manage operational aspects in the laboratory
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, immunology, cellular/molecular biology, or related areas; Master's degree or PhD preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a highly regulated environment following ISO 17025, GLP, NATA, or similar
- Demonstrated experience and thorough understanding of flow cytometry
- FACS analysis software experience
- Experience in the development and validation of immunoassays
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills
What We Offer
- An attractive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
