Our organization seeks a skilled medical professional to fill the role of Primary Care Physician. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards and legislation.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards and legislation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Evaluate Defence personnel for fitness for duty and provide medical care that supports their health and wellbeing.
- Provide technical advice to senior officers and colleagues.
In partnership with Bupa, our healthcare services team provides integrated care to Defence members across Australia. We have multiple locations nationwide, ensuring Defence personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.
Essential Requirements:- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration.
- Minimum of 2 years full-time post-graduate experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years.
