Home Lending Specialist

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Home Lending Specialist to join our team at CommBank. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, building trust, and delivering the right lending solutions to help them achieve their home buying dreams.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide support and advice to customers to help them achieve their home buying goals
* Complete first interviews and appointments with prospective home buyers to determine suitable lending solutions and submit applications
* Make relevant suggestions to customers based on their home buying goals
* Provide exceptional service to customers, building trust and confidence to help them secure and enhance their financial goals
* Build your personal brand and network in the local community to enhance your credibility
* Develop your business by building and maintaining internal and external referral sources and seeking external referrals from existing customers
* Contact home buying customers to build rapport, determine their needs and goals, and invite them into the branch for an appointment
* Adhere to the Bank's processes, procedures, and Code of Conduct, including accurately reviewing customers' financial positions, completing security checks, and ensuring applications comply with our obligations
* Attend regular coaching sessions to develop your lending knowledge and skills and coach your branch colleagues on best practice
* Research the broader market, economic, and industry changes affecting customers and the Group
* Use tools to capture customer feedback and take action to correct any service breaks and drive improvement

**Requirements**

* Experience in a similar home lending role from within a bank or mortgage broker environment
* Demonstrated business development success
* A well-developed knowledge of home lending products and the current responsible lending legislation
