Aged Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in the Burnie TAS area.
As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes. Your daily tasks will include domestic assistance, helping with meal preparation and shopping, providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities, and personal care.

Responsibilities- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and beautiful living environment for our customers
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food
- Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected
- Provide personal care, including assisting with mobility, therapy goals, and medication management
- Offer respite and emotional support, providing a listening ear and a helping hand when needed
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing
- At least 6 months of experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with travel a part of the role
- Ability to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to ask for help
