Aged Care Support Worker

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Support Worker to join our team in Burnie. As a Caregiver for Seniors, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
- Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Provide respite and emotional support, recognizing the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
- Transport customers to appointments, ensuring they receive the care and support they need.
- Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, with empathy and understanding.

Requirements
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel.
- The ability to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to ask for help.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach, recognizing the importance of building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
