About The Role

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our properties are safe, well maintained, and compliant with all relevant regulations and requirements. You will focus on responsive maintenance and vacant maintenance of our properties, reporting on your findings and ensuring the lifecycle of each component is taken into account.

Liaising regularly with internal and external stakeholders, building and sustaining positive relationships with technical consultants and contractors, and responding to their needs in a timely manner will be an important aspect of this role.

You will have a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable people in our community, a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a caring and empathetic nature. An understanding and appreciation of the importance of responsive and efficient asset management for the community, confidence in liaising with various stakeholders, including vulnerable people, and previous experience working on MS Office programs, including Excel, are essential criteria for this role.

We seek applicants with previous experience working in the social/community housing industry, a Certificate IV or above in a relevant trade, ideally Building and/or Carpentry, and experience or knowledge of property management. These skills will enable you to make a valuable contribution to our team and help us achieve our goals.
