About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage the day-to-day operations in our Apex Rd Facility - Gunnedah. As a key member of the McLean Care Sapphire Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the best possible level of care is given to each resident.

You will be responsible for all operational aspects of the Residential Facility, including managing staff, developing professional capabilities, and enabling quality living experiences. Your expert people management skills will support the staff to provide optimum levels of care, while your analytical mindset will help you identify and solve problems that impact resident services.

With a strong focus on compliance and Aged Care standards, you will work closely with the Residential Area Manager to ensure that the facility operates within budget parameters and meets the needs of our residents.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of three years' experience in Aged Care or Health industry, with a proven track record of managing claims for aged care subsidies and funding. You will have demonstrated ability to cultivate a workplace culture that exemplifies the McLean Care mission and values, and have engaging leadership skills coupled with the ability to identify and retain talent.

You will also have a naturally analytical mindset with a strength in applied problem-solving skills, competence in the preparation and management of operational budgets, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you will have demonstrated experience of the effective provision of clinical leadership and success in highly regulated environments requiring compliance to government standards.

What's in it for you?

We offer a competitive salary of $130,000 + super and more, a fully maintained motor vehicle for private and business use, and a 10% Annual KPI Bonus. You will also have access to salary packaging (up to $18,900 net) to increase your take home pay, and a relocation allowance will be discussed for the right candidate. Temporary Accommodation will be provided (12 months with option to takeover lease thereafter).

You will be part of a truly supportive and collaborative leadership collective with enabling services to assist you achieve outcomes, specialised IT, WHS, HR/IR, Quality & Compliance and centralised Rostering, just to name a few.
