Maintenance Technician Specialist
About the Role
This exciting role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Maintenance Technician in our team.
You will be responsible for performing planned services on equipment installed on customer sites, travelling to diagnose and rectify technical issues, investigating and correcting problems where machines are not performing at required levels, performing machine services and rebuilds in our workshop, providing technical phone support, liaising with management on service-related matters, attending machine-specific training courses, and complying with local safety guidelines.
To be successful in this position, you will require a current Electrician's Licence or be a trade-qualified Fitter/Mechanic with a Restricted Electrical License. Experience in the food industry packaging or processing equipment is an advantage. Electronics skills and knowledge of PLC-driven processes are mandatory, along with advanced knowledge of motor, servomotor and drive technology. Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic drawings to a component level, proven customer service skills, willingness to work weekends, travel at short notice, and work flexible hours, a current Driver's License, and strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are also essential.
This is an entry-level full-time role within the Information Technology sector, specifically in Machinery Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
