**Job Overview**:

We are seeking a Waste Collection Officer to join our team in Bathurst. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and operating a waste collection vehicle, collecting waste from households in the region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Drive and operate a waste collection vehicle to collect waste from households
  • Collect waste from households in Bathurst, consistent with applicable statutes, regulations and council policies
  • Undertake duties relevant to the role within the Waste Management Centre as directed

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

  • HR drivers licence
  • Demonstrated basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge
  • Proven experience in operating tipping trucks
  • Proven experience in the operation of lifting equipment
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
