About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Farm Hand to join our team at Rural Enterprises in Merredin, WA. As a key member of our cropping program, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of crop farming duties, machinery operation, and mechanical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a range of agricultural equipment, including combines, balers, mowers, tractors, and loaders.
  • Perform mechanical workshop duties and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.
  • Assist with general farm duties, including fencing and yard maintenance.
  • Drive a company vehicle and transport equipment and personnel as required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in broadacre cropping and machinery operation.
  • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of machinery maintenance.
  • Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised, maintaining safety and efficiency.
  • Reliable and honest, with a strong work ethic.
  • Hold a valid HR driver's license or above.
