About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Farm Hand to join our team at Rural Enterprises in Merredin, WA. As a key member of our agricultural operations team, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of crop farming duties, including grain, hay, and straw operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain a range of farm machinery, including combines, balers, mowers, tractors, and loaders.
  • Perform mechanical workshop duties and maintain farm equipment to a high standard.
  • Conduct general farm duties, including fencing and yard maintenance.
  • Drive a truck and transport goods and equipment as required.

About You:

  • You must have experience with broadacre cropping and previous machinery operation experience.
  • You should be mechanically minded and able to complete maintenance tasks to a high standard.
  • You will work well in a team and be able to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and efficiency.
  • You should be honest and reliable, with good health and hygiene.
