Key Role in Driving Business Success

The Trade Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our business by launching new products, managing category performance, and leading promotional plans. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing expert to bring energy and expertise to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. NPD: The candidate will help launch new products by working closely with NAMs and brand managers to align strategies, manage timelines, and ensure readiness for each category review. They will procure trade samples and packaging that make these products shine.
  2. Category Management Guru: The Trade Marketing Manager will liaise with Nielsen, IRI, and Quantium to maintain top-notch scan data and category performance reports. They will provide insights that directly influence strategic decisions, including promotional strategies and competitive positioning.
  3. Promax Mastery: The candidate will ensure promotional plans are entered accurately into Promax. They will track monthly trade spend and collaborate with finance and Wipro to resolve P&L reporting at both account and brand levels.
  4. KPIs and Growth: The Trade Marketing Manager will maintain smooth communication across teams, ensure timely Promax exports, and align on strategies for new product launches. They will keep us on track for key milestones and work to ensure trade spend stays on budget.
Requirements
  1. Trade marketing experience is highly regarded but not essential.
  2. A degree in a relevant field is required.
  3. Proven experience in the FMCG space (at least 5 years) is crucial, with Food and Beverage experience highly valued.
  4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are necessary.
  5. Sharp analytical skills and the ability to dive into data to uncover insights are required.
  6. Experience in category or key account management in Australian grocery markets is desirable.
  7. Proficiency with Nielsen, IRI, and Quantium is essential.
