About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at the Honeymoon Uranium Mine in South Australia. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical servicing and preventative maintenance on the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections of plant and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Carry out servicing and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Operate in accordance with the Company's Safety and Health Policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in call-outs as required and provide support to the Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Assist with plant commissioning and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
About You
  • Australian Mechanical trade qualifications (Cert 3 in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or Boilermaker qualification) and relevant mechanical experience.
  • Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment.
  • Experience in maintenance management systems and knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements in a mine environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Australian Drivers Licence and EWP/Working at Heights/Confined Space certifications (desirable).
