Business Intelligence Analyst

Spotlight Retail Group (SRG) is seeking a skilled Reporting Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making within our Human Resources (HR) function.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse relevant data to produce high-quality written reports for HR-related papers, presentations, and other materials to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support organisational initiatives.
- Manage and maintain all corporate workforce reporting, including monthly, board, annual, compliance, WGEA, and adhoc reporting.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive talent metric reports.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance within all HR systems and databases.
- Identify and develop continuous improvement for reporting processes.
- Project manage and execute the Group Engagement Survey.
- Analyse survey data and provide actionable insights.
- Offer expert consultation for action planning.
- Develop and implement a robust performance and succession framework for the Group.
- Actively participate in and lead various HR projects as needed.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on data reporting, data analysis, and performance reporting.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Analytics).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to visualise data effectively.
- Experience with data manipulation and research, including extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources.
- Ability to analyse data from multiple sources and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian employment legislation (Modern Awards, EBAs, FairWork Act).
- Exceptional data analytics skills and a strategic mindset.
- Proven experience in business partnering, consulting, negotiation, and facilitation.
