Teaching Opportunity in Music Education

Mt Austin High School, situated on Wiradjuri Country in Wagga Wagga, offers a dynamic teaching environment catering to students from Year 7 to 12. The school has a diverse student population of approximately 540 enrolments, comprising 47% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and 10% from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging teaching programs that cater to a wide range of student interests, wellbeing needs, and abilities. They will implement effective teaching strategies for students with diverse backgrounds and abilities, including Indigenous students.

  • Approval to teach Music 7-12 (MUS) is required.
  • Proven ability to design engaging and effective teaching programs.
  • Ability to implement teaching strategies for diverse student backgrounds and abilities.
Employment Conditions

Successful applicants may be entitled to a Recruitment Bonus and a Relocation Support Payment.

An unconditional full approval to teach is required.
