About the Role:
Followmont Transport is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will play a critical role in driving the administration function and providing support to our Supervisors and Managers in meeting their WHS obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support, including data collation, data entry, report creation, and promotional material development.
- Conduct internal audits and provide advice for continual improvement.
- Offer guidance and support to Supervisors and Managers in meeting their WHS obligations.
- Identify and contribute to safety improvements and safety and wellbeing programs.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with safety considerations.
- Undertake risk assessments and provide written reports.
- Collaborate with all levels of the business to achieve strategy plans, objectives, and targets.
- Coordinate and participate in Health and Safety Committee meetings.
- Support emergency response training and annual evacuation exercises.
- Be available for travel as required.
Requirements:
- Cert IV Health & Safety – minimum of 3 years.
- Previous experience in the field of health and safety.
- Previous experience in the transport industry or warehousing is highly regarded.
