Project Background

The Audio Commissioning role plays a pivotal part in the project lifecycle, encompassing Testing, Configuration, and Handover stages.

As a key team member, you will be responsible for authorizing project closure and acceptance into the Support Services workflow.

Given the requirement to specialize in this field as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), a significant amount of training will be undertaken.

The approach to configuration involves ensuring that as much as possible is conducted off-site prior to equipment shipment.

A vital element of this role is managing Quality Assurance processes and services onboarding from development to production within a client's environment.

You will support 'day one' client operations and work alongside established teams to strengthen our Installation process.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 3 years+ experience in IT (Cert III in IT an advantage)
  • High-level IT, soft codec platforms, VC and AV skills
  • Sound technical knowledge and interest in the technology space
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, and a genuine interest in assisting the team and our clients
  • Desirable product knowledge in QSC, Biamp, Polycom, Crestron, Cisco
  • Willingness to undertake a high degree of training

Responsibilities:

  • Finalize POMT project elements
  • Testing, commissioning, and QA of full Audio Visual systems and complete relevant documentation
  • Complete off-site system commissioning and pre-configuration
  • Build, deploy, and commission audio files
  • Maintain solutions understanding and work with clients to configure and troubleshoot all IT processes
  • Be lead client point of contact for all IT requirements
  • Configuration and setup of IT & network devices
  • Maintain IT documentation throughout projects
