Opportunity for Emerging Artists

We invite local artists residing in designated counties and the City of Guelph to participate in a juried exhibition at the Wellington County Museum.

  • The event will take place from March 27 to May 25, showcasing an assortment of creative works.
  • Registration will be available online until March 17 on the ARTISTS page of our website.

This collaborative initiative is made possible by the partnership between the Elora Fergus Arts Council and the Wellington County Museum & Archives, receiving generous support from community sponsorships and donations.

About the Exhibition

This juried exhibition presents an excellent opportunity for emerging artists to gain exposure and build their portfolios. We encourage applicants to submit their unique perspectives and talents, contributing to a vibrant display of artistic expression.

The selected artworks will be showcased in a professional setting, allowing artists to connect with like-minded individuals and potential patrons. Our goal is to foster a sense of community among artists, promoting collaboration and mutual growth.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, artists must reside in designated counties or the City of Guelph. We welcome applications from individuals who can demonstrate their passion for art and a commitment to creative excellence.

Selection Process

A panel of experienced judges will carefully review all submissions, considering factors such as originality, technical skill, and overall impact. The selected artworks will be announced prior to the exhibition dates, allowing participants to prepare for the showcase.
