Corporate Tax Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our corporate tax practice, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert tax advice to our clients.

Job Description

Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Corporate Tax Advisor to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax services to our clients, including corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.

The Opportunity: As a Corporate Tax Advisor, you will work closely with our clients to understand their complex tax needs and provide tailored solutions to address these challenges. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from tax planning and structuring to audit and controversy resolution.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert tax advice to our clients on corporate tax matters, including M&A, consolidations, restructures, and financing.
  • Assist in the delivery of taxation services for an allocated book of corporate clients, including corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
  • Collaborate with our specialist teams to bring expertise to our corporate clients, including international tax and transfer pricing, tax controversy and transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Australian corporate income tax experience, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm or mid-tier accounting firm.
  • Developing client-facing skills with the confidence to contribute to client meetings and build a network.
  • An ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct, well-informed recommendations to your clients.
