
Emotional Resilience Support Specialist

Ensuring community safety and emergency preparedness is a top priority for our team. We deliver high-quality fire, rescue, emergency, and disaster management services through a collaborative approach to improve safety outcomes.
The role involves responding to fires and other emergency incidents as part of a team, promoting community safety through education, and developing competencies through training provided by our organization. Maintaining required attendance standards for emergencies and training, operating firefighting equipment safely, and contributing to station upkeep and hygiene are also key responsibilities.
Eligibility requirements include holding a current Blue Card or being eligible for one, employer consent to attend incidents and emergencies, living or working near an auxiliary fire station, Australian Permanent Resident Status, and a valid C Class driver's license.
Key accountabilities for this role include responding to fires and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness, developing competencies through drills and training, maintaining required attendance standards, operating firefighting equipment safely, and adhering to legislative, policy, and procedural requirements.
