Education Leadership Opportunity in Western Australia



The Department of Education, Western Australia, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced education professional to join our team as a Program Coordinator - Student Services.



About the Role



This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate education leader to collaborate with the senior leadership team to provide inspirational leadership within the school and community.



As a Program Coordinator, you will have leadership and management responsibilities for two consecutive cohorts of students, working closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the highest level of educational outcomes for all students.



The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in Student Services, with strong interpersonal and public relations skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to achieve planned outcomes.

Key Responsibilities



The successful candidate will be responsible for:





  • Providing inspirational leadership within the school and community

  • Working closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement effective learning strategies

  • Leading and managing two consecutive cohorts of students, ensuring the highest level of educational outcomes

  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with teachers, support staff, and parents

  • Contributing to the development of school policies and procedures



Selection Criteria



The successful candidate will possess:





  • A strong track record of success in Student Services

  • Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills

  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to achieve planned outcomes

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
