Roadway Preservation Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to operate and maintain asphalt seal spreader trucks and related equipment. This role involves preparing surfaces for sealing, applying sealant according to specifications and safety regulations, conducting routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow, and following all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• A valid driver's licence (HC or MC) is required.
• A chance to upgrade HR licence to HC licence is available for the right candidate.
• Experience in asphalt spray sealing or a related field is preferred.
• A strong understanding of road construction and maintenance practices is essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
• The ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments is necessary.

• An hourly rate from $33, pending experience, plus penalty rates, plus super.
• Working 8–12 hour shifts: day shift (6am–6pm), night shift (6pm–6am).
• Uniforms and personal protective equipment provided.
