About the Role

Programmed is seeking a dedicated and skilled Structural Remediation Specialist to join their team in North Melbourne. As an Australian leader in chemical underpinning, ground engineering, and asset remediation, they provide innovative solutions to stabilize and strengthen residential, commercial, and industrial structures.

This role focuses on residential and commercial projects, with responsibilities including sinkhole repair, leak sealing, water stopping, and structural rectifications. You'll work closely with engineers and other technicians, playing a key role in building stabilization and ground remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with chemical underpinning and ground stabilization projects.
  • Support sinkhole remediation, leak sealing, and water stopping.
  • Operate high-pressure pumps and other specialized equipment.
  • Use hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
  • Keep accurate records of tasks and project progress.
  • Travel with the team to different sites, with some projects requiring stays of 1-2 weeks.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Communicate with clients and site supervisors to provide updates on project progress and address any issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of construction experience (experience in structural repairs, chemical underpinning, foundation repairs, or ground engineering is preferred).
  • Valid Victorian or equivalent Australian driver's license (Medium Rigid license is a plus).
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors for long periods.
  • Willingness to travel across Melbourne, regional Victoria, and interstate.
  • White Card (Construction).
