We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified professional to take on the role of Centre Director/Brand Developer.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Develop and establish a high-quality brand, developing a flagship centre which will become the brand standard for exceptional quality child-care in the South East Melbourne area.
  • Participate in the development of an inspirational management team, tasked with advising, promoting and establishing the Precious Seeds brand at Hallam and in other locations.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, families, staff and visitors, by ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and legislation is complied with.
  • Draw up and implement an inspiring educational program, making sure the centre delivers on the requirements of the National Quality Framework and follows relevant government requirements.
  • Effective rostering and team management ensuring consistency of care. Coordinate staff leave as required and select short-term staff.
  • Administrative duties including email communication, Storypark, Xplor, Qikkids, Excel, Word, knowledge of CCS and implementation of government free/funded kindergarten program.
  • Manage the centre's resources.
  • Manage enrolment enquiries, tours and orientations.
  • Take a proactive role in leading and supporting educators' professional development and performance.
  • Maintain an inclusive, supportive, and educational environment for all children and especially for those with additional needs.
  • Organisation of incursions, excursions, and events for the centre.
  • Build respectful and reciprocal relationships with families that respond to their needs and expectations.
  • Exchange and communicate information with parents.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the wider community in the Hallam area.
">Essential Requirements:">
  • The right to work in Australia.
  • Current First Aid.
  • Certificate/ Asthma/ Anaphylaxis/ CPR certificates.
  • Current Working with Children check.
  • Current Victoria Driver's Licence.
  • Computer literacy and the ability to use data collection systems: Storypark, Xplor, Qikkids, Excel, Word, knowledge of CCS and government free/funded kindergarten program.
">Selection Criteria:">
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification.
  • Director/managerial experience within the sector in the last five years.
  • Excellent working knowledge of EYLF and NQF.
  • Educational vision and the ability to draw up inspirational learning programs.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of the Assessment and Rating process.
  • The ability to develop and implement a forward-thinking QIP.
  • Excellent, proven interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and the capacity to build respectful, warm and professional relationships with parents, children, and colleagues.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive, solution-orientated attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.
