We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Queensland Health. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the repair, installation, maintenance, and repair of all facility infrastructure across our hospitals and health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, client-focused, high-quality technical trade support to the operation and maintenance of the hospital plant and infrastructure.
  • Support the maintenance and repair of all facility infrastructure, including carpentry, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Work collaboratively with our trade supervisors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of facilities management services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal facility performance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification and experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of providing high-quality technical trade support and maintenance services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
