About the Role

The Service Person Driver is a critical link between our customers and their projects, big or small. As the Kennards Hire representative, you will be responsible for providing expert advice, pickups, deliveries, and ensuring our equipment is ready for hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct and Demonstrate to customers on how to safely use our equipment.
  • Perform Pickup and Delivery of equipment from customer sites, including safely loading and unloading of equipment.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service in all customer interactions.
  • Maintain Equipment Standards through regular servicing and minor repairs.
  • Perform Cleaning and Maintenance of branch facilities and equipment as required.
  • Conduct Equipment Inspections to ensure quality and safety.
About You
  • You will have a strong background in customer service, building and construction, hospitality, retail, driving, landscaping, trade, or maintenance.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • You must be available to work weekends on a rotating roster.
  • This role requires physical components, including lifting and standing for long periods. A level of physical fitness is required, and you must be able to pass a drug test.
  • You will have strong communication skills and be proactive and keen to learn new skills.
  • An interest in machinery and equipment is beneficial, although training will be provided.
  • A positive attitude and team player is essential.
