About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Quality Expert to lead our safety, health, environment, and quality initiatives. This role is based in Adelaide and involves working closely with operational and support teams to drive compliance and foster a culture of safety across metropolitan and regional sites.

The Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) delivers essential services to over 5,000 government sites across 48 agencies in South Australia. We partner with local businesses to provide these services to communities statewide.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in safety and quality management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team and manage diverse stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead safety and quality strategy and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to site teams and subcontractors.
  • Conduct audits, lead investigations, and deliver actionable insights to improve safety outcomes.
  • Champion a safe working culture through active engagement and education.
  • Maintain strong relationships across the AGFMA contract and our quality network.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related field.
  • ICAM accreditation.
  • Lead Auditor qualification.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and certified management systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
