Job Description: Data Insights Specialist

This entry-level position is part of our Strategy, Insights, and Integration team within the Advertising department at Seven West Media. As a Data Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with media brief responses by creating proposals, schedules, and analyzing data to provide media recommendations.
  • Producing various reports in Excel and PowerPoint and delivering data insights and analysis to the sales team.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective campaigns and ensuring projects stay on track and are delivered.
  • Assisting in managing workflow, including project timelines and deliverables.
  • Helping to implement advertising initiatives.
  • Providing administrative support and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

You will be well-supported and receive ongoing training on our systems and products to confidently discuss advertising and media.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in a media, advertising, or marketing insights/analytics role (desired).
  • A strong analytical and data analysis skillset.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite to prepare general correspondence, sales presentations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with Roy Morgan and Ipsos/Iris software (highly regarded).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enthusiasm, and ability to build strong professional relationships.
