We are seeking an experienced and confident allied health professional who would like to join our vibrant and energetic team. As a Paediatric Allied Health Support Officer, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills to assist with business growth and development while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Compassionate and empathetic with a genuine interest in client care
  • Flexible and able to adapt to new situations and multitask
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to make clients feel welcome
  • Previous experience in an allied health setting is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

As a Paediatric Allied Health Support Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming clients and families to our service
  • Answering phone calls, enquiries, and client emails
  • Managing and scheduling client appointments using practice management software 'Nookal'
  • Keeping client files accurate and up to date
  • Preparing NDIS service agreements, and processing Medicare claims
  • Processing billing, Medicare, Private Health and NDIS payments including front desk payments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid working with children's check (blue and yellow card)
  • Current first aid certificate or willingness to access CPR training through Learn & Grow
