Job Expectations:

The Director, Global Financial Crimes Manager will execute the Global Financial Crimes Program in the Asia Pacific Region, establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders within Front Line Units and Control Functions.

This role involves assisting Global Financial Crimes Compliance executives and managers in identifying, escalating and mitigating compliance risks aligned with the Compliance Risk Management Program and the Financial Crimes Global Policy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving consistent execution of the financial crimes program across the Asia Pacific region
  • Performing gap analysis of Enterprise/Country standards against new or revised financial crimes laws and regulations
  • Reviewing Front-Line Unit escalations on financial crimes inquiries, risks and concerns
  • Developing management information, including review and production of Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators
  • Contributing to risk coverage plans, executing independent risk monitoring, testing and assessments
  • Assisting in the identification, aggregation, reporting and escalation of remediation and thematic analysis of FLU/CF-owned issues and control enhancements related to financial crimes

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need at least 12 years' experience in a similar or related role in a financial institution, legal or consultancy firm or regulatory authority.

Anti-money laundering and financial crimes experience in a financial institution or government position is highly desired, as are excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid influencing capability, decision-making abilities, self-prioritization, teamwork and sound risk management skills.
