Job Opportunity: Coaching and Mentoring Role

The role of Employee Mentor provides coaching, mentoring, and training sessions to support new staff in Employment Service programs. This includes assisting Line Managers to coach and mentor new employees during their first three months of employment. The aim is to enhance employee retention.

Experienced staff can apply for this opportunity to develop their coaching or mentoring skills and progress their careers. Current Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, or experienced Coaches may be suited for this position.

This secondment will last 6-12 months and take place at Morley in Perth North with regional travel.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Provide high-quality guidance and mentoring on specific roles in Employment Service programs to new staff.
  • Support new employees in understanding and completing their Induction Plan.
  • Deliver practical coaching on work tasks and attend appointments to assist learning.
  • Offer feedback to Line Managers and escalate additional training requests.
  • Engage professionally with all work groups at the organization.
  • Meet service delivery standards and adhere to the organization's Values, Code of Conduct, Deeds, Guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Required qualifications include a current driver's license, reliable vehicle, Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development, and at least two years of experience in Employment Services.
