Early Childhood Educator Role Description

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to lead a team of dedicated professionals in our Toddler Room. As a Senior Educator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality educational programs that cater to the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Lead a team of Educators to deliver exceptional educational experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices.
  • Evaluate and report on the progress of children in the Toddler Room.
  • Develop strong relationships with families and communicate effectively with them about their child's learning journey.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
