Senior Consultant – Governance and Assurance

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Governance and Assurance Senior Consultant to join our team at Careerlink People Solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of governance practices, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored governance processes, workflows, and templates that align with our organisation's strategic goals. You will also lead the creation and delivery of training programs for our Sustainable Infrastructure team, facilitate collaborative initiatives, and oversee the preparation and submission of reports and project submissions for key stakeholders.

Your expertise in change management, process improvement, and quality assurance will be essential in ensuring effective use of systems and tools, while developing and managing training modules aligned with best practices and industry standards.

You will engage with professional groups and industry associations to stay updated on best governance and audit practices, while reviewing and refining internal processes for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement governance processes, workflows, and templates
  • Lead training program creation and delivery
  • Manage report and project submission preparation
  • Oversee assurance audits and conduct quality checks
  • Act as custodian for capital project and program management procedures
  • Engage with professional groups and industry associations

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Established expertise in facilitating workshops and training sessions
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
