Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Dispute Resolution Associate to join our team of experienced lawyers. As a key member, you will work closely with our Partners to provide expert advice and representation in complex commercial disputes, class actions, and restructuring & insolvency matters.

You will be responsible for advising clients on litigation strategies and representing them in court. With 2-4 years of PQE in commercial litigation, you will have a strong understanding of Australian law and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

  • Advise clients on litigation strategies and represent them in court.
  • Work closely with senior lawyers to develop and implement case strategies.
  • Conduct legal research and draft documents, including pleadings, briefs, and motions.
  • Assist in the preparation of witness statements and other evidence for trial.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of PQE in commercial litigation (restructuring & insolvency experience valued but not a pre-requisite).
  • Relevant experience in a top-tier or leading international law firm (preferred).
  • A strong client service focus, with excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong technical, drafting, and commercial skills.
  • Business development aptitude, interest, and experience.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, including across Australian offices and internationally.
  • Willingness to learn and develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences.
