About Our Home Care Support Worker Role

Our company seeks a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Support Worker. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential services to clients in their own homes, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to maintain their independence.

This position requires a high level of empathy and understanding, with a focus on delivering personalized care to meet each client's unique needs. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve excellent outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
  • Provide personal grooming and hygiene assistance
  • Assist with medication reminders
  • Purchase food, plan menus, and prepare meals
  • Offer mobility assistance within the home and local community
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Home and Community Care; or a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or completed first-year study towards it
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • First Aid and CPR certification (not required at application stage but necessary for commencement)
  • Excellent communication skills with good spoken and written English; proficiency in other languages welcomed
  • Australian working rights, current Police Checks, and Working With Children Checks
