We are seeking a skilled and experienced technical equipment specialist to join our team.

About the Role

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to install, maintain, and troubleshoot technical equipment in various locations.\
  • This includes carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections in accordance with established guidelines and schedules.\
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to travel to sites as necessary to ensure effective service delivery.\
  • A key aspect of this role is ensuring compliance with all relevant trade measurement legislation and quality assurance standards.\
  • Effective timekeeping and records management are also essential components of this position.\
  • Assembly, testing, and packaging of goods for sale, hire, or repair may also be required in the workshop environment.\
  • Continuous professional development and adherence to company policies and procedures are mandatory.\
  • Safe operation of vehicles is crucial, with a focus on minimizing risk and promoting a culture of safety.\
  • Finally, accurate and comprehensive reporting is essential to ensure seamless service delivery.\

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in scales and measurement services is highly desirable.\
  • National Measuring Institute (NMI) certification or willingness to gain is advantageous.\
  • Mechanical or Electrical or Electrotechnology trade certificate is highly desirable.\
  • A current unrestricted Australian driver's license and licensed to drive a manual car is essential.\
  • Full working rights within Australia are necessary.\
  • Ability to pass a medical assessment, including D&A, to determine suitability for the role.\
  • Preparedness to travel to site as required.\
  • Capacity to assist with new installations and provide service troubleshooting skills in the field.\
