As a Designer with Myer, you will play a pivotal role in executing the Myer Exclusive Brands product strategy, specifically Casual Menswear. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating and executing the design direction for aligned brands, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality product range.

  • Develop and implement design concepts that align with the Myer brand vision and product strategy.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to source new fabrics, trims, and other materials that meet the brand's quality and aesthetic standards.
  • Work closely with the product development team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of design packs and specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with international trends and adapt them to the Australian market, ensuring that Myer's products remain relevant and desirable.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience in a design or product development role, preferably in the menswear industry.
  • Tertiary education in design or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, garment finishing, and fabric properties.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as Microsoft Applications.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
